How to Use Philips SpeechMike Premium?

- From your Windows computer, open the start menu and select "All Programs".
- Scroll down until you can open Philips Speech Control and the Philips Device Control Center.
- To create a recording with the Philips SpeechMike Premium, the dictation microphone must be connected to the computer via a USB cable.
- You’ll also need to have dictation software installed such as SpeechExec from Philips or Nuance® Dragon® Naturally Speaking.
- Start up the software you’re using.
- On your microphone, press the “Record” button. The recorder should be in “Record Standby” mode and the light should be flashing green or red.
- Start speaking after you move the slide switch into the “Play” position. When you’re done recording, just move the slide switch to the "stop" position.
- Press the EOL/PRIO key to mark the recording as complete.
- To give the recording a priority status, press the key again within a half second.
- Don’t forget to use the Device Control Center to customize your Philips SpeechMike Premium to your own special individual needs. You can assign different functions to each key, disable, and enable certain features.
