Yes. Users will need a Dragon Medical One and a DAX Copilot license to experience Dragon Copilot features if they are still on Nuance paper. This includes access to front-end speech and ambient listening.

Dragon Copilot can be purchased through two different business models, either a per user subscription license or a combination of per user subscription license plus pay as you go meter.

• A single subscription license: Dragon Copilot Per User is a single user license, which includes all features such as Front-end-speech, ambient features, and genAl features.
• A blended business model: Dragon Copilot Flex user license provides access to Dragon Copilot and includes usage of Front-end-speech. However, to utilize the ambient and genAl features, you must link an Azure subscription to the customer environment in Dragon Admin Center to enable pay as you go consumption of these features.

A customer can choose to buy a mix of Dragon Copilot Per User and Dragon Copilot Flex licenses to assign to the users. For more information, please reference the Dragon Copilot Licensing Guide.

PowerMic Mobile is not supported with Dragon Copilot. In July 2025 the remote mic feature of Dragon Copilot adds the ability to use mobile as a microphone for desktop and web and is included for no additional charge.

A consumption SKU requires Microsoft Dragon Copilot Flex to be purchased first. It cannot be sold separately.

The MSD Manuals source is available without any additional premium feature fee, along with CDC, FDA, and Medline+. We will add more sources over time that follow the same pattern (no additional charge). However, some sources will require additional licensing or charges. For example, Walter Kluwer's UpToDate will likely require a customer to bring a license.

Our Spanish language feature is optimized for use with major Spanish-speaking populations in the United States - that is the primary use case.
