How to Check Your PowerMic Firmware Version
The Nuance® PowerMic® II firmware allows for plug-and-play functionality with Windows® 10 and 11. The microphone has a serial number label on the back that identifies its firmware version.
The serial number beginning with the following prefixes indicates firmware version 2.02, or higher: [A] & [E] with an additional label stating F.W. Ver 2.02.
If you are not running the latest firmware version, it can be downloaded and installed using the firmware update tool. More info can be found HERE.
